UNTAMED - a 7 days luxury ceremonial mountain Yin Yoga Retreat & Yoga Teacher Training in Montenegro

A HEART ADVENTURE  

Immerse yourself fully in the stunning, raw, wild & beautiful lands of Montenegro. In the National Park Lovcen, we're going not only to meet our untamed Self and journey deep within, but we'll also have a special opportunity to bath in the yin & untouched energy of this magical, serene space surrounded by nature & in total harmony with it.  

During this 7 days retreat, we'll be exploring different tools like ceremonial cacao, mantras, rituals, pranayama, meditation, yoga Nidra, journaling, smudging, tantric Hatha wisdom goddesses, yin yoga & dance journeys with live music and sound healing by Mehdi Dehbandi (check out this video from our last Yin Training there).

Each ceremony, workshop & journey is designed to get you out of your comfort zone and at the same time nurture the wild and untamed within you! How can we feel more alive? Wild? Vulnerable? Honest? Our UNTAMED retreat happens at the beautiful, magical, and luxurious ASHUMA Retreat Center nestled in the Montenegrin mountains.

This retreat is for everyone that feels tired and like no sleep can make it up. No matter how much you relax and practice gratitude, it seems like never deeply satisfying enough. You miss something and you can't totally grasp it but feel it.

Let's discover in these 7 days what you miss and how you can make your day-to-day life more magical, alive & like your heart is breaking open - dancing with all that is and flowing through life without losing your center. Let's lose our minds, nourish our bodies, connect to our hearts & energetically open up to a life that amazes us - from the inside out.

You have the chance to choose between two different packages for this immersion:

1) having a retreat week of ceremonies in the morning and evening and lots of spaciousness for yourself to relax, rest, replenish, and re-inspire throughout the day

OR

2) becoming a yin yoga student and immersing yourself through the day in different workshops to become a yin yoga teacher (for everyone that is already teaching/having 200 hours of training and wants to continue educating themselves) - learn here more about the yin yoga teacher training. 

The eco-luxury glamping invites us to relax, recharge and nourish on a deep level. 

OUR WEEK TOGETHER: 

Our first session (Opening Circle & Yin Yoga Journey) starts on the 5th of June at 5:45-7:15 pm and dinner at 7:25 pm (bonfire meditation afterward). Our last session is from 8-9:30 am and brunch at 10 am on the 11th of June.

Check-in is from 12 pm on our first day

Check-out by 12 pm on our last day

Schedule Example Retreat (that can vary):

9-10:30 am Morning Session

11 am Brunch

from 12 pm free time (relaxing, hiking, going for a trip, practicing, writing, flowing, optional excursions from the beach to lake trips)

4:30-6:30 pm Evening Session

7 pm Dinner

free time until 10:30 pm (we'll practice silence in the rooms from 10 pm so that everyone can enjoy their sleep)

There will be two sessions daily and one on the last day. Each will vary in length, content & intention and include different tools as described above.

For the retreat:

Your investment includes 12 ceremonies with Aleks Nikolic, Sound Healing and Bonfire Jams by Mehdi Dehbandi, (self-service) morning tea & cacao, daily vegetarian dinner & brunch, a goodie bag, and 6 nights at the luxurious Ashuma mountain retreat venue in beautiful glamping tents from South Africa (fully high-quality furnished).

More Details:

Nonrefundable Deposit: CHF 500.- paid within 2 days after booking via e-banking or via credit card as you book your slot online. The rest of the payment(s) is due on the dates above.

Not included: Airfare, taxi, excursions, additional meals/drinks, and/or any extra costs are not included in the retreat investment

We strongly recommend you take some more days off and explore other beautiful places in Montenegro. The Ashuma Team will be very helpful in organizing any further trips and transport for you.

It’s also possible to organize individual or group transport from the airport to the ashuma retreat center. If you arrive in Montenegro before and enjoy a few days by the beach in Budva for example, we can help you with the accommodation in Budva and/or transportation to your first stop and to Ashuma from there. About Aleks Nikolic and her 7 years of teaching experience:

In November 2014 I cried on my bathroom floor, working non-stop as a Community Manager for a big American corporation. I felt exhausted and I simply craved to feel happy. I guess today I’d call it an urge to feel fulfilled as happiness isn’t something we can expect to feel always, yet fulfillment helps us trust in the moments when life feels challenging.

With that decision, I recommitted to my yoga practice and hired a life coach. In February 2015 I went to Brazil for a retreat by myself and made the secret decision to leave Switzerland a year from today for good. I found a 200hs Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training in the jungle of Costa Rica that would start in March 2016. Well, the urge became louder and I quit my job earlier, starting my journey with a trip to Italy and the wonderful city of Verona.

I’ve sold all my things and got myself a one-way ticket to Bali where I woke up in October 2015.

What a crazy journey life is. We simply have to make a choice that we are not willing to move anymore in directions that deprive us of feeling aligned and working against ourselves.

Before the teacher training, I started organizing women’s circles and workshops around creativity, journaling, self-expression, vulnerability, and rituals. After that, I started teaching in Mexico in May 2016 first on the beach and then in a local yoga studio. From then on I’ve taught in youth camps, eco-resorts, and urban city yoga studios from Zurich to Prague, Bangkok, and all over the world in Europe, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Central America.

I’ve done over 500 hours of teacher training and immersions in Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, MyoYin and Myofascial Release, Yoga Nidra, Tantric Hatha Yoga and Divine Feminine, Kids Yoga, ThetaHealing, and much more.

From 2018 until today I’m assisting Nik Robson during the Yin Culture Teacher Training and led this summer my first extended Ceremonial Yin Yoga Teacher Training.

Booking and Cancellation Policy:

I strongly recommend booking travel insurance and having international health insurance valid for Montenegro. Please note that the CHF 500.- deposit is not refundable. Please note that credit card payments are CHF 50.- extra cost.

The participant is responsible to pay cancellation fees as

follows:

● Cancel 80 days prior to arrival - 100 percent of the full booking fee is due

to the organizer

● Cancel 90 days prior to arrival - 80 percent of the full booking fee is due to

the organizer

● Cancel 120 days prior to arrival - 60 percent of the full booking fee is due to

the organizer

The cancellation policy applies to all reasons for cancellation. The organizer is not responsible for any forces of nature that may cause the participant to cancel. Also, holiday insurance is recommended.
